Originally a series of exercises
developed for dancers, Pilates will condition you
through various stretches and positions similar
to Yoga. Pilates will stimulate your body and give
you the total body workout you are looking for.
This program will help you to stay in shape with
an emphasis on your abs, back and chest. In addition,
Pilates is a great strength training exercise.
Participants should bring a mat to every class.
Participants can bring a 2 lb. Pilates ball. A number
of exercises can be used with (or without) the ball.
