The Township of Freehold will conduct an On-Line Public Auction of Motor Vehicles, Tractors, Skid Steer, Backhoe Loader, Office Equipment, Furniture, Unclaimed Evidence, Jewelry, and Other Miscellaneous Items Declared Surplus and no longer required for use by the Municipality.

The online auction will be conducted via Municibid Website under the name freeholdnj for 14 days beginning April 23, 2011 and ending May 7, 2011. Electronic bidding only will be permitted.

Vehicles may be inspected Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. at the Township Public Works Department located at 66 Jackson Mills Road, Freehold.

Winning bidders will be notified immediately upon the completion of the auction, and all items purchased must be paid by certified check or cash no later than five days after the sale at the office of the Municipal Clerk, One Municipal Plaza, weekdays, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

After payment is received and title issued to buyer, buyer must present title to pick up vehicle at the Department of Public Works, located at 66 Jackson Mills Road between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday no later than ten days after the sale.
