“The mission of the Freehold Township Schools, in partnership with our community, is to prepare all students to be responsible citizens and life long learners."
Freehold Township Schools
are operated for elementary grade children of the Township. The Freehold Township Board of Education presently operates seven schools and an early childhood learning center. They propose their own budget that is annually voted upon by the citizens.
Freehold Regional High School District

Freehold Township and Freehold Borough send students to these schools, and the six other participating municipalities are the Boroughs of Farmingdale and Englishtown, and the Townships of Colts Neck, Howell, Manalapan and Marlboro.
