The Building and Grounds Department is responsible for the cleaning and maintenance of all Township facilities. The work includes routine janitorial duties as well as minor building repairs. In addition, the Buildings and Grounds Department services the heating, air conditioning and ventilating needs for each building. Special projects are also undertaken which require skills in painting, carpentry, masonry,
plumbing, electric and other trades. Exterior work on the municipal grounds is completed by the Parks Department.

Meeting spaces are available in the Municipal Building and the Construction Building for government and
non-profit groups. Most space is only available in the evenings, between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. An application, certificate of insurance and a $50 application fee (used for the first month's rent) is required.
