How high can a fence be constructed?
Up to 3 feet, except for side and rear yards where it can be up to 6 feet in height.

What kind of a fence is required for a swimming pool?
It must be a minimum of 4 feet in height. If chain link, the mesh must be 1 and 1⁄4". Gates must be self closing, self-latching and must swing out.

Can the fence be installed on the property line?
Yes, but we recommend a few inches inside the property.

Must the fence be installed with the "good side" out?
Yes.

How large a shed can be constructed?
Up to 192 square feet. It must be set back 5' or 10' from the property line depending upon the zone. Call (732) 294-2076 for the dimension.

How large can a detached garage be?

What number do I call for a Code Enforcement complaint?
If the site is on the East side of Route 9 call (732) 294-2055, if west of Route 9 call
(732) 294-2067.

What are the regulations on a home-based business?
