Freehold Township's Recycling services are provided by
the Department of Public Works. Freehold Township collects
the following materials at curbside:

Glass bottles and jars
• Aluminum, tin, and
bi-metal cans
• #1 and #2 plastic
pourable bottles •
Cardboard (folded and tied no larger than 30x30x6)
• Bundled newspaper
Recyclables are collected every other
week by recycling sector and should be placed at the
curb by 6:00 a.m. on the specified collection day.
Material should be placed in hard-sided open containers no
larger than thirty (30) gallons and not in paper or
plastic bags. A schedule is printed every year and is aired on the TV-77 bulletin board
and is available here
on our web site.
Residents also have the option of bringing
the recyclables listed above as well as many other items to
the Township's Recycling Drop-Off Center on Jackson Mill Road
at the Department of Public Works facility.
