Connections to the Sewer
System
If you would like to connect to the public sewer system,
the following steps need to be completed:

Contact
the Utility Department on (732) 294-2170 to find out
if sewer is available to your home. |

If sewer is available, you must
fill out an application to connect. Applications are
available at the Utility Office in the Municipal Building,
which is located on the corner of Schanck and Stillwells
Corner Roads or by calling
(732) 294-2019. |

With your completed application,
you must pay a connection fee of $2,006.00 plus MRRSA
connection for non-developers. For developers, there
is a connection fee of $1,506.00, plus MRRSA connection
fee and additional construction costs to install the
service. You will be notified of any additional costs
prior to connecting. |

|
You will need to contact a plumber
to connect your home into the sewer line. |
