Water Conservation Policy/Restrictions-

Freehold Township enforces a year-round water use restriction policy. This policy is mandated by State regulations which require a water conservation program for Township customers. Water for lawn purposes and at home car washing is permitted only during the following periods: Residents with odd numbered homes may water on the odd numbered days and residents with even numbered homes may water on even numbered days. All residents may water on the 31st day of the month. A violation of this restriction may result in a complaint being issued in the Municipal Court under Section 15-1.7 of the Township Code.
