Freehold Township is prepared and poised for natural or manmade disasters. An Emergency Management Plan that coordinates the response activities of Municipal, County and State entities is in place. The plan provides for optimum preparation, response, mitigation and recovery from the effects of natural and technological disasters, as well as national security crisis. The plan coordinates law enforcement,
fire and rescue, emergency medical services, hazardous materials response, public health, social services and many other public and private agencies.
