About Us
Established September 2001 as a non-official body to assist with projects designated by the Freehold Township Historic Preservation Commission to
- Promote public awareness
- Raise funds for ongoing projects
- Provide person power for public programs
- Open to anyone who expresses interest in preservation and restoration of township structures
- Dues will be $20 per year per person/ $25 per year for family
- Corporate dues will be $50 per year without voting privileges
- Projects will include:
- Establish programs for township school children at our historic sites
- Provide guides for programs for the public
- Secure artifacts from the public for display in our historic sites
- Work cooperatively with official and voluntary agencies
- Fund-raising for ongoing projects
Buy a Brick Fundraiser
The Freehold Township Heritage Society is working with Eagle Scout Jacob Nelson to erect a flagpole with a brick base outside of the Oakley Farm House Museum. The bricks are engravable and will provide the Heritage Society an opportunity to raise funds to support its many properties.
