How to Obtain an Accident Report

Motor Vehicle Crash/Accident reports can be obtained online.

No information regarding the crash will be released until the report has been approved and sent to the Records Division.

Motor vehicle crash reports can be sent by mail, upon receipt of a self-addressed stamped envelope with a $5 check or money order made payable to "Freehold Township Police Department." Driver/involved person name(s), date, time, location of the crash, and incident number must be included with requests by mail.

A minimum of 5 to 7 business days will be required before reports become available. You may telephone after 5 business days to inquire if the report is ready and available.
